Texas Brownies with Ice Cream |

3 cups flour |
3 eggs |

In a large bowl combine flour and sugar. In a heavy pan combine margarine, shortening, coffee or water and cocoa. Stir and heat to boiling. Pour boiling mixture over flour and sugar. Then add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into a well buttered 15” x 15” pan. Bake @ 400º for 20 minutes or until brownies are done. Serve with ice cream. |
