Sept. 18-20 we celebrated our 29th Anniversary at Pacetti’s Marina campground in Green Cove Springs
We had 6 squares of Square Wheels, Gypsy Squares and Visitors dancing,
with others sitting around visiting.

There was a short meeting about O’Leno with signup sheets for the committees.

Labor Day Thrill at Blueberry Hill was a great success.
We will plan on next Labor Day 2010 at Paradise Oaks, Bushnell.
Bill Chesnut and Bobby Keefe will be calling. Lisa Wall will be our cuer.
This will be a great camping and dancing weekend!!

O’Leno Hoedown – Nov. 6, 7, 8, 2009

Many people have signed up for the different committees.

If you have not signed up to work yet, but wish to participate,
please contact Mary Chesnut at 352-475-2550, or e-mail her @ marynut@cfop.biz.
The rules for O'Leno are pretty much the same as in years past.
If this is your first O'Leno Hoedown as a Square Wheel or Gypsy member to work,
then you pay the entry fee and sign up for a couple of jobs.
The fee for dances & meals is $32 per person.
If you have already paid in a prior year and have worked,
then all you do this year is pay $12 per person for the Saturday evening dinner and sign up for a couple of duties.
If you just want to attend the hoedown and not work, the fees are as posted.
We will have the consignment shop again for Square Dance related clothing, etc.
All items must be clean & on a hanger with an envelope attached to each item with the amount & some way to identify you.
Each person is responsible for supplying their own rack or display table,
AND FOR REMOVING ANY UNSOLD ITEMS AT THE END OF THE SATURDAY NIGHT DANCE.
Just a reminder to those who usually park in the parking lot,
the park ranger will no longer allow us to use that lot for over night parking.

IMPORTANT IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING O’LENO WE NEED YOUR NAME FOR A HEAD COUNT FOR FOOD.

The Square Wheels Christmas Party is Dec. 19^th, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Gainesville.
The address is 3146 N. W. 13^th Street (US441).
We will plan to eat at 5 pm with party and dancing to follow.
There will be a Chinese gift exchange (limit $10) you can participate as a couple or single.
If someone could volunteer to cook either the ham or the turkey that would be a great help.
The club will reimburse for the meat.
Plates, tableware, cups, napkins, drinks & rolls will be provided,
so just bring a side dish.
Please let Mary Chesnut know by Dec. 15^th if you wish to cook either meat.

The Gypsy Squares will be camping at Ocala Sun R.V. Resort, (the old Ocala Ranch) in Belleview Dec 4 - 6.
This will also be their Christmas party.
There is a gift exchange, with a $5 limit.
The club provides the meat for the dinner on Sat. Evening and everyone brings a covered side dish.
If you can come, please let Martha know and she will make your reservations with the Gypsy’s.

New Years Eve Dance – Dec. 31- Jan.1 at Pacetti’s Marina & Campground in Orangedale
near Green Cove Spring, on SR-13N.
Come camp for $22.00 a night including tax and dance ‘til midnight.
Dancing, dinner by Jay & Terri Peck, party favors, door prizes and etc. all for $45.00 per couple.
