NEWS This year’s Camp-O-Ree theme will be Pirates! ARRRRR Ya Dancin’? Time is getting close for the boarding of ship Camp-O-Ree! Hope you all have ribbons. If you need any just get in touch with us and we’ll get them to you quick as a wink. Those Swashbucklers have some great fun prepared for us. Lots of pillaging, drinking, wenching, flogging, and, of course, square dancing. Remember, we will be in captivity for four days and 3 nights; October 22nd through October 25th 2009. Thursday there will be a pirate dance, costumes are optional. Also on Thursday will be an ice cream social. Friday there will be dancing and a whole lot more. Be on guard, you never know what those cunning pirates will think of next. There may be a treasure hunt, but there will definitely be drinking. The Pirates have made some tasty Pirate Grob and donut rings for everyone. For Saturday, be ready for a fashion show with a pirate twist during the day and lots of dancing at night. The skits are always something to see. By Sunday morning the pirates will be getting tired of chasing us around and will be treating us to a Captain’s breakfast. After breakfast, there will be a church service to allow us to ask forgiveness for all of our pillaging, drinking, wenching and flogging. If you have time, please stay for the annual meeting. As always, we wish you a safe trip home.
