The Bay Area Twirlers Square and Round Dance Club will be celebrating their 48th anniversary as one of the premier clubs in the Tampa Bay area. We have earned our reputation as one of the friendliest and fun clubs to belong to and/or visit. We are happy to invite singles as well as couples to be a part of our club.
We dance at the Brandon Community Center on 502 Sadie Street, Brandon, Fl. 33510 on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. (See schedule below for complete dance list which includes some schedule adjustments to the first or third Saturdays). We use a different Call for each dance and now have secured the services of Charlie Lovelace as our club Cuer. We sponsor square dance lessons (Basic, Mainstream & Plus) each Thursday at 7:00 PM at the same location..
Square Dance Lessons
Thursdays 7:00 - 8:30 pm
New Square Dance Class Starts September 15, 2011. This is a Beginners/Mainstream Class, for new square dancers or refresher course for someone who has not danced in a while. The lessons will be held at the Brandon Community Center on East Sadie Street (see map below), at 7:00 - 8:30 PM each Thursday. Only $4 per person per lesson. The Caller/Teacher will be Van Coble/Dan Wilkerson. New Dancers will be accepted until September 29, 2011. For more information please call Patti @ 813-571-7786 or George @ 813-662-1012.
